We call our staff organizers because that's exactly what we are. This may change depending on where the group itself goes in the future. We, as the Des Moines Furmeet staff would love to see you at our events, we focus on having a friendly environment that is open to everyone interested in attending.
We plan to expand our group and create an organization/club in the near future where we can put together more events to help us grow! The idea of the furmeet original came to her mind one day, on that same day she happened to meet Spaceweasel! She mentioned the idea of doing a furmeet in Des Moines and plans started from there.
Devy is a digital artist, fursuiter and has attended Midwest Furfest multiple times in the past.

Spaceweasel
Spaceweasel moved to Iowa from California around 2007 and shortly after became involved with the Des Moines furry community. Plans for the Des Moines furmeet came after a chance meeting with Devy and her ideas for a furmeet.
Spaceweasel is a digital artist and fursuiter, and works as a graphic designer. he has attended Midwest Furfest, and Anthrocon.
