Central Iowa Fur Group

What is the Des Moines Furmeet? It is a group of like minded individuals who enjoy drawing, costuming, and the general idea of anthropormophic (cartoon) animals. 

 

There are numerous furmeets and conventions all over the country, but one day the organizers got talking about wanting to do a furmeet here in Iowa. So here we are building this website and spreading the word! We have big plans for the group we're putting together and intend to see those plans through.

 

The main goal of the furmeet in general is to spread the word as much as we can and welcome all interested with open arms. We want you to come and we want to meet you!
